| very nice mate looks great... the flower is exactly the same colour as M. guelzowiana, there must be some certain bugs that like that colour in their natural habitat. does anyone know if these two plants are from similar area?  |

| It's interesting that the stigma emerge first. I wonder if they mature first too? Do these cacti self-pollinate at all? I wonder if you pollinated them before they opened whether they would be receptive then??? |
