Does any one have Mammillaria hutchinsoniana ssp theresae. I only managed to get one plant to maturity from seed due to a marauding drake & i would like to be able to fruit it. Does anyone have a pup they would be prepared to swap or trade? I have a few pups that i potted up a while back so they hopefully will have roots fairly soon.

If you are talking about Mamm. therseae I have a batch of seed I'm going to try and germinate soon and if I can get some seedlings up you are welcome to a few. I had planned to get them up and graft them to kick them along if I can get the pere. going... not much luck with that at the moment. They don't seem to like the cold and have died off at the tips and dropped all their leaves.
EDIT: there is a Mammillaria hutchisoniana ssp. louisae

Keep us posted with how you go germinating M. theresae, TasV, it's a known tough one to bring up from seed. I've raised a fair few but I reckon my success rate is probably something like 20% or less overall...

Nav. I've joined that specialist Mamm. forum you posted and intend to pick people's brains first about these ones as I have also heard they are hard from seed. Might see you over there
